Yamas Restaurant

our family absolutely loves this restaurant! it has been our favourite since we were kids. it is always the place we choose for birthdays and special occassions. THE BEST GREEK OUT THERE!!

Love this place! Food is amazing!

We dined at Yamas the other nite and had a great time...2 bottles of wine, a santarini platter for two which is totally amazing, and a couple of Yamas coffees to wind up the night.

And, we learned something new,

My wife and I went to Yama's for dinner, and ordered the chicken souvlaki special with water to drink and no dessert (about $53 CAD without the tip). The souvlaki was good, with mild spices. The pita break was warm, buttered, and very good. The Greek salad was just ok, and we didn't like the potatoes at all (they were cut in half and had something on them that made them somewhat sour).

The atmosphere was a bit dated, as some have said, however it had a Greek feel to it and we found it comfortable.

Bottom line, we found the experience to be ok, but not a restaurant that we plan to return to anytime soon.

Heard from friends that it was a great place, so my husband and I dined there this past Saturday night. We purchased the platter for two that was on special, and it was amazing! By far the best Greek food we have had in town! The staff were also knowledgeable and a very kind.
The belly dancer was a great surprise for us! My husband and I enjoyed her so much that he has been hinting at purchasing me lessons for my next birthday!
Over all it was a great night. We strongly recommend the place.

Went to Yamas and tonight and we must say the food was excellent! The service was great and we really loved the belly dancer which made out for a great time on Saturday night! We will definately tell our friends and will be visiting Yamas again and again.
